Final Update: Both Maya and GCash Issues Have Now Been Resolved

lust a few hours after publishing my previous update, I received an email from GCash informing me that my remaining issue—the relinking of my GCash Card—had finally been resolved.

This means that both of my e-wallet issues are now officially resolved.

Timeline

✅ Maya

  • First support ticket: June 14, 2026
  • Approximately 4 support tickets
  • Issue successfully resolved after multiple follow-ups.

✅ GCash

  • First support request: June 14, 2026
  • Remaining issue: GCash Card relinking
  • Received confirmation today that the issue has been resolved.

My Thoughts

I’m glad that both companies eventually resolved my concerns. Although the process took much longer than expected, I appreciate that both cases were ultimately completed successfully.

One thing I learned from this experience is that patience and consistent follow-ups can make a difference when dealing with customer support for financial services. Hopefully, both Maya and GCash continue improving their response times and communication so that future customers can enjoy a smoother support experience.

For now, I can finally say that everything is working normally again.
