
I wanted to share another update regarding my experience with the customer support services of Maya and GCash after my mobile number was deactivated.
✅ Maya Issue Officially Resolved
After nearly a month of waiting, my issue with Maya has finally been resolved.
- First support ticket: June 14, 2026
- Total tickets submitted: Approximately 4
- Status: ✅ Resolved
The process took much longer than I expected and required multiple follow-ups and support tickets before reaching a resolution. While I’m relieved that the issue has finally been fixed, I believe the overall response time and communication could still be improved.
❌ GCash Issue Still Unresolved
Unfortunately, my experience with GCash has not changed.
Despite submitting my request around the same time and following up regularly, my account issue remains unresolved. As of today, I am still waiting for a meaningful update or resolution from their support team.
Final Thoughts
This experience highlights how important responsive customer support is, especially for financial apps that people rely on every day.
I’m thankful that Maya eventually resolved my concern, even though it required patience and multiple support requests. However, I’m still hoping GCash will improve its support process and resolve my case soon.
