Lately I was wondering why the heck my computer shows that I only have 3.95 usable memory, I searched some forums and youtube but still can’t find the answer. I entered my bios and it seems it has detected my 24GB memory. When I take a look at my motherboard I realized that the slots have blue and black color, I have 1 pair of 8GB memory and 1 pair of 4GB memory and I reseated my 8GB to the blue slots while 4GB on the black slot and powered up my computer. Problem fixed! Now my windows can detect all 24GB memory!
There might be some other causes but you can find other solutions on google if this one doesn’t work for you. Ciao!
A while ago I was testing my site on different browsers if my favicon.ico will show up and I also have tested it on my phone but it seems like it only shows up in chrome browser while the other browsers such as mozilla and IE it doesn’t display the favicon that I have set. I converted my *.ico to *.png and tried to set it and it successfully shows up on all my browsers as well as on my phone. It seems like the other browsers would not recognize if your favicon is *.ico file. Hope this could help those who are looking for answers. Have a great day!
I was testing my blog for browser compatibility a while ago and found out the Disqus system is not loading in my Mozilla browser. After tackling Mozilla and tried to disable extension, my Disqus worked. The problem that causes Disqus not loading is from the avast extension, I don’t know the reason it causes the problem and I hope avast will fix this soon.
There are a lot of people were trying to find suitable software in able to clean up garbage files in their computer and that including me. There are a lot of free cleaning software out there which could be downloaded but the question is “Is it safe?”. For those who are worry about the safety of your computer, you can create your own system trash cleaner. In DOS commands, you can type it manually or you can create an .bat file.
1. Open your notepad and paste this lines
echo cleaning system trash files，please wait…… (it depends on what you want)
echo System trash cleaner by: Paul Bade (it depends on what you want)
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*.tmp
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*._mp
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*.log
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*.gid
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*.chk
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\*.old
del /f /s /q %systemdrive%\recycled\*.*
del /f /s /q %windir%\*.bak
del /f /s /q %windir%\prefetch\*.*
rd /s /q %windir%\temp & md %windir%\temp
del /f /q %userprofile%\cookies\*.*
del /f /q %userprofile%\recent\*.*
del /f /s /q “%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\*.*”
del /f /s /q “%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temp\*.*”
del /f /s /q “%userprofile%\recent\*.*”
